The burgers pictured above are, hands down, the BEST burgers I have ever had!! So much so, we have eaten them the past 3 Sundays in a row. I know, sounds excessive, but once you try them, I'm sure you'd understand the obsession.
When I first discovered this recipe I was skeptical and a bit judgmental. I just couldn't wrap my head around the whole 'cooking meat on a bun' concept. Fast forward to now and I consider myself the best burger maker ever. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but... Toot Toot!!
- 1 lb. ground beef
- garlic salt
- worcestershire sauce
- American cheese
Preheat oven to broil. Line baking sheet with foil and place bottom half of bun on baking sheet. Form your patties and place on bun. Take a knife and score each patty with an X. Drizzle Worcestershire in the middle of the X and season with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Place a slice of butter on each patty and place baking sheet on middle rack of oven and cook for 10 minutes. Add a slice of cheese to each patty and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Thank me later. :)
